The North Sound Ostomy Support Groups invites you to attend their Ostomy Awareness Day celebration and Vendor Fair. The event will take place on Saturday, October 5th from 11 am to 5 pm Pacific Time at the Optum Medical Office Building, Basement Level – Rainier & Cascade Conference Rooms located at 1330 Rockefeller Avenue in Everett, Washington. There will be an ‘Ask the Nurse’ station, ‘Meet an Ostomate’ station, ostomy manufacturers and vendors, ostomy products and educational materials. There will also be four guest speakers at this year’s event.  Rachelle Caviness, Registered Dietician and Ostomate who will cover “Healthy Eating Habits for Ostomates” from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Dr. Sandra Lopez, Clinical Psychologist and Ostomate, Holly Vance, Ostomy Nurse Practitioner, and Jim Morgan, Double bagger for over 70 years, will be present “Ostomy Ultimate Q & A” from 2:30 to 3:30 pm.
