Speaker: Michael Esteban Gerald- CounselorPhDLCMHCCRC

Adjusting to life with a new or existing ostomy can be difficult and cause strong emotional reactions. The idea of a “healthy adjustment” or ideal life for you might change and is not neatly defined. In this Ostomy Academy program, we will discuss the concept of healthy adjustment to ostomy surgery and how one might achieve a fulfilling life with an ostomy. Speaker Gerald has had an ostomy since a young age.
